W 74 - 52 @Philadelphia Eagles Hater
While I scored a win in Week 3, it was hardly a performance worthy of much gloating up top. In the interest of full disclosure I will say here that my opponent played injured K.C. RB Jamaal Charles, who has not yet this year played, did not play, and will not play at all until 2012. In other words, I was playing a dummy team with no one at the helm and still was lucky to eek out a W.
QB: Matt Schaub had the big week I knew he was capable of when I drafted him as my first quarterback, throwing for 373 yards and 3 TDs. ...My third quarterback is recent wire acquisition Cam Newton, who I started instead of Schaub this week, and who threw for 160 yards and 1 TD. Loss: 10 points
LL*: Check the weather report before kickoff. Had I done this, I'dve expected heavy rain in Carolina and would've adjusted my roster accordingly.
RB: My friend said today, "Running backs are worthless this year," by which he meant teams are throwing a lot. It is only week 4 and 2 QBs have 1000+ yards! Matt Forte, who this week caught 7 passes for 80 yards, certainly gets thrown to a lot; his versatility as a back makes him a threat every week. Arian Foster (AFo) should be returning to form this week against the Steelers.
WR: Patriots' QB Tom Brady threw for over 400 yards again this week, only this time he did it without the help of my WR Deion Branch, who caught 0 passes. SHP Devin Hester (3, 65) Loss: 6 points
One more WR note: ATL's Roddy White may be battling an injured thigh according to the cryptic half-reporting of popular websites - as always, I'll be keeping my eye on the wire. See you again in 3 days.
ON THE BENCH WEEK 4: Matt Schaub (again), Matt Ryan, Shonn Greene, Reggie Bush, Hines Ward, Cadilliac Williams, 1 TBD
